Group Policy & Samba 3.0
 

HI All;

I set my samba PDC on debian sarge and it is working fine, I create /usr/local/samba/lib/netlogon dirctory with ntconfig.pol file name,also i enable the foloowing line in smb.conf

[netlogon]

comment = netlogon ....
path = /usr/local/samba/lib/netlogon
guest ok = yes
browseable = no
...

then i save and restart my samba with:

sudo smbd stop
sudo nmbd stop
sudo smbd start
sudo nmbd start

I think group policy is not working in clients?? why ?

i don't know the answer to this question... but it's defnitely one that I'm interested in.. hopefully someone can shed some light... I've been wanting to set up a Samba PDC with group policy settings..

I am also interested in this subject. Can anyone help?
