Question GrassGIS lib files MISSING!!!!

I have tried to install GrassGIS from the lingis ftp server and every time I do this, it comes up with a message saying that these library files are missing

libgdal.so.1
liblapack.so.3
libproj.so.0

Anyone know what is going on?

Does anyone know of any other GIS packages for suse 9.1 pro?

libdgal.so.1 you can find here:
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i586.rpm.html
liblapack.so.3 you can find here:
http://at.rpmfind.net/opsys/linux/RP...pack.so.3.html
libproj.so.0 you can find here:
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i386.rpm.html

Edited to add Google found this GIS package for Suse called LinGIS:
http://www.gisuser.com/content/view/2670/2/

Thanks

I have tried these sites and downloaded the files but when I try and install GrassGIS it won't accept the lib files.

Someone suggested to me that this is due to me having suse and windows on the same hard drive?

LinGIS is just a folder containing lots of tools and GIS packages including GrassGIS. This is where I originally got GrassGIS from.

Alex

I dont see Suse at this site
http://grass.itc.it/grass57/binary/linux/
but maybe you can find some info here
http://grass.baylor.edu//
I don't know what the differences are in the distros that
use rpms, my first thought would be that there is a version difference in the libraries. Good luck.
