Graphics Software?


I need a program for linux to run under Gnome/XFree86 which is equivalent to the windows software Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Inc. Paint Shop Pro, not GIMP, but something advanced!
anything i can get?

No luck, wine can't run Paint Shop pro 8!

If GIMP is not advanced for your tastes, I don't know what you'll term as advanced.

With it's numerous plug-in's like filmGIMP, I think any commercial product can compete with it and still lose. Well, if it is good enough for DareDevil(Movie), it should be good enough for you!!!

thats right ultimateguy

GIMP is good
has a lots of features
and so many plugins

play with it for a month or so
you will be ablt to get 75% of what Photoshop does in gimp
