Graphics program for resizing images needed?

Are there any decent graphics programs for linux that I can use to resize images? I searched google and could not find anything but the gimp, I tried the gimp and its not a very good program.

No really, Are there any programs to resize pics like jpg`s? Thanks.

ImageMagick do the trick

convert -resize 50% foo.jpg bar.jpg

Yep, ImageMagick or Gimp are what I would recommend as well. Gimp might be confusing to some but it's an excellent app.
