Did you change your XF86Config file? Make sure it is using the tdfx driver for your voodoo card.

ok what did you do to get the 3d with the voodoo....are you sure the card is properly configured? what error is it when you try to run q3 ??
if you switched cards then your obviously going to have to re-run the x configurator... did you have your system using the generic drivers for the card?

I've seen alot of threads about my Voodoo3 2000 PCI card. I can run the glxgears and it works... but I try to play Quake 3 and I cant. I need DRI. I downloaded it, and when i try to ./install it... i get an error "Could not located 'ed' editor. Aborting." Can anyone help me out? Can I just move the DRI folders to the correct places myself or do I have to install it??? Thanks!

oh.. i use the glxinfo and I see direct rendering: no.
but I do see tdfx on the lhmod or whatever. It is being used. I've already edited my XF86Config.

Please help, thanks!
