Graphical FTP client (not kbear)

When I use kbear on SusE, the KDE toolbar at the bottom gets all messed up. I have to reboot to get it back to normal. I am wondering what other FTP clients people use.

Thanks

Which version of kbear are you using? I use that on suse and it seems to work fine, I got it as an rpm from the suse ftp site, I think it is version 2, maybe that one is more stable for now? Just a thought.

Kbear 2.1 on both Suse 9.1 and 9.2. These are x86 architecture machines and both were RPMs installed using YasT. Sourceforge didn't help me find an alternative client although they have a nice server selection.

Still looking for an alternate FTP CLIENT.

I like gftp a lot, but that's a gnome/gtk application, so I don't know if you would like that one. There's always ftp command line too

I'm getting by with the command line, but I'd like a gui if possible. I'm going to look into that app

Kasablanca is a good alternative to kbear.

While we're on this topic, does kbear, gftp, and/or Kasablanca
has secure ssl? It seems to me that it is better to use secure
ftp since passwords are not safe. Correct?
