Question got mailserver?


I am looking to set up a mailserver on a linux box i was wondering if anyone would like to leme know of a few good ones. but I must warn up I am a

mailserver for sending mail: a good one is postfix. try it, its easy to set up, and is pretty secure.

For mailbox stuff IMAP is pretty nice ( most distributions have support for this).

Sendmail is rather difficult to set up. Postfix is more modern.

Red Hat Linux nowadays also supports Postfix.

This in combination with Squirrelmail is really really cool!
