Google Earth for Linux
 
Is there a google earth for Linux? Or at least something close?

No, but they've only just released the Mac version and I *believe* they said something about a linux version to follow.

I've tried to search it in synaptic. But it isn't there..I think I'll have to download it from the site itself..Thanks.

Google Earth may not be available yet, but maps.google.com works great in Firefox under Linux. It doesn't do it all, but it's a good start.

(too bad it doesn't work in Konqueror, though....)

Well, for me maps.google.com works just fine in Konqueror as well as in Firefox.
