Good MP3 Player

I have about 4000 MP3s and was wondering if there is a good player out there for Linux? On my windows boxes I use MusicMatch which handles the library fine bit I haven't found anything for Linux that can handle that kind of a library. OK, actually I just started looking. I am running Mandrake 9.2 KDE. The Totem Media Player that comes with it just crashes out if I try to add that many songs. In fact, I don't think it will start anymore. I also noticed that it didn't really have a library, just a song list. At least I couldn't find a library. Is there anything out there similar to MusicMatch?

Unfortunately, no. I looked high and low for a Musicmatch-like app when I first started using Linux. XMMS is the best player we have. It is different, and it doesn't have the awesome library feature like Musicmatch but it is an excellent player. Once I got used to it , and organized my files a bit differently I grew to like it better than MMJB.

There is a Musicmatch for linux (version 7 or so) that will run under WINE, but it will likely be sluggish and isn't that easy to get working.
