If you search for guides about pulseaudio, most of them are either "disable pulse audio", "disable alsa and enable pulseaudio" or "why pulseaudio is bad"
Well, I recently needed to record a microphone and talk to people with that mic. Can't do that with alsa, so I created a "sink" to make that possible. I've also done interesting stuff like recording desktop audio but piping my music player directly to headphones (so it isn't recorded while other audio is)
Fun stuff!
But pulseaudio is really dense and most of what I accomplished was by scrounging in stack overflow sites. I'd like to get a more comprehensive understanding, like Frozentux and its guide for
iptables
Arch linux is great because of its dedication towards documentation - I've found
this and have been perusing it.
Anyways, does anyone have any good resources for pulseaudio?
