Good FTP client for website syncing?
Hi all,
i'm looking for a good FTP client to do website synchronization. I'd like to be able to store an ftp address/folder and a local folder, tell it to sync, and have it upload any newer files. I'd also like to find one that will let me cloak files by regexps - for instance, NOT upload anything with a '~' in the name, any directories named ".AppleDouble", or anything named ":2eDS_Store". Kate generates a lot of these backup files (e.g. index.php~). I have all these apple files there because sometimes when i'm in another part of the studio I'll edit stuff on my powerbook by mounting my linux directory through appletalk over wifi. so, in short, i want something similar to dreamweaver's site management, without having to deal with dreamweaver. tried gFTP and KBear but neither seemed to have what i need - any other suggestions? or, hints on writing a shell script to do this?
thanks,
