Good File Comparison Utility
 

Anyone know of a good file comparison utility? I took a look at gtkdiff, but the latest version is about a year old and there doesn't appear to be much in the way of further development.

What I'm looking for is something like Beyond Compare from Scooter Software. That's a Windoze program that I use on a few of my other computers.

Any suggestions??

Obviously I know about diff. I wouldn't have mentioned it in my post had I not already used it.

What I'm looking for is a nicer frontend to diff than gtkdiff. It would seem that there isn't anything like that available based on the overwhelming lack of response.

what I meant to say is forget about the gui & get right to the point. wanna make it easier? script it. really you can't live without the GUI? build one. can't build it? I might be intrested to do it out of pure boredom.....
