Good and Some Questions...

Well I have finally gotten an install that I can to the most part used productively. It is Mandrake 10.1 on a Sony Vaio notebook and installed the Linuxant drivers for wireless.

First of all, A+ to Linuxant!

Anyway, I would like to add a couple of things.

Multimedia:
1) To be able to watch DVD's. I get an error about encryption or something. What do I need to solve this??

2) I have a lot of movies on Divx. Is there a Divx encoder available.

Networking:
1) How do I disable or reduce the boot time when searching eth0. eth0 is my builtin network adapter rj45 type that I no longer use.

2) How do I setup Linuxant to automatically load when booting. Once my system is up, I have open a terminal and enter dldrconfig and everything is works great.

Thanks in advance.

hi there,

my contribution

1). you need to update your libdvd libraries. By default, these libraries are not able to "open" encrypted DVD's. A google search will bring a lot of results: search for "libdvdcss" or "libdvdread" or ...

[edit] typo, of course..
