Going crazy trying to get Evolution to access my pop account at GoDaddy

If there's anyone here who has successfully got Evolution to work with GoDaddy - or thinks he knows how - I sure could use some help.
I want to drop Thunderbird because the latest has an incompatibility with fedora 16 - but I am hitting my head against a wall trying to get Evolution to work with GoDaddy.
Heres how I have it set up

RECEIVING
POP
pop.secureserver.net 995
knox@knox-data.com
SSL
Login
Remember my pasasword

SENDING
SMTP
smtpout.secureserver.net 465
Server requires authorization
SSL
Login
knox@knox-data.com
Remember password

I can send but can't receive
It asks for my password and I give it the correct password - the password that works with Thunderbird -and it says
Quote:
unable to connect to POP server pop.secureserver.net Error sending password
I have tried every permutation I can think of regarding the receiving parameters.

Here is how Thunderbird is set up

POP
pop.secureserver.net 995
knox@knox-data.com

SSL/TLS

normal password

Outgoing (SMTP)
Description: Your WildWest domain
Server name: smtpout.secureserver.net
465
knox@knox-data.com
normal password
SSL/TLS

?? help ?? please ??

Can you also try to establish a pop3 session from the command prompt and see what error you get?

Thanks!
