Unhappy gnuplot 4.0.0

when trying to install gnuplot 4.0.0 I got only the 'gnuplot' binary in gnuplot-4.0.0/bin, whereas with the old version I got (3.7) i used to have 2 binaries, gnuplot and gnuplot-4.0.0. Is tah normal?
