Gnucash Data Loss

Hi friends,

I recently had a problem with gnucash 2.02. It was working fine until yesterday when I started it and found 1-year worth of data was not there at all. I was left back in December 2005. Also in some accounts (like salary) data older than 1 year was also lost. Has anyone come across such problem. Please suggest some solution to get back that data. I guess the data is still there in my hard disk, but gnucash cannot display that.

If you suspect a bug (or upgrade issue) you should check GNUCash' bugtracker for similar issues.
If it was retention time go to http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/FAQ and search for ".xac" (the backup files).
