GnuCash Barcode Reader?
 

I'm planning to shift from our company's currently existing POS system to a Linux based one. Is it possible to make use of the barcode reader that our POS have under GnuCash? We're also using Quickbooks and is it possible now to convert the Quickbooks files to GnuCash readable format?

I know it is possible to use a barcode reader with Linux.
I have utilized barcode readers available on VT terminals to do some inventory control. Probably much simpler than what you may have in mind.
