gnometoaster


Hi !

I use RH 8 and and I am tring to use gnometoaster to copy a cd.

I red all the docs inorder to set it right but whan try to burn I recive the next error :

Sense code:0x24 Quel 0x00 (invalid field in cdb)
Sense flags:Blk 0 (not valid)
cmd finished after 0.009s timeout 480s
child exited unexpectedly
CD recording process finished

what is going on ?

is everything is to hard making things to work in linux?

maybe there is another stable apps to burn cd's under linux ?

this is not a gnometoaster error, it's a cdrecord error, which all pretty burner programs are just a front end to. are you able to do dummy burns? your burner does get detected if you try "cdrecord -scanbus" i presume?

Hi !!

I tried the command that u told me and it did detect the cdr correctly.
I tried burning some files from the file system and not copy a cd and I recived exectlly the same error as before...
