Gnomemeeting does not detect my webcam
Hi all!!
I've been using Gnomemeeting for long time under RH9 with a Logitech Quickcam Zoom. All went perfectly, until I decided to upgrade to FC2. I managed to get pwc and pwcx work under kernel 2.6.6, camorama and castream detect and can use the webcam perfectly, but Gnomemeeting doesn't even detect it. When i run the druid configurator, i can only select "picture". I have changed permissions to /dev/video0 so all users can read&write the device and i get the same result. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make Gnomemeeting detect my webcam?? Thanks a lot |
Well, finally I managed to get gnomemeeting recognize my webcam. I had to download pwlib-plugins-v4l and pwlib-pluguins-alsa in order to get sound and video.
I can only say thaks a lot to Fedora Core team to no put these dependencies on the package, this has been breaking my balls all day long. |
