checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not found
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install


thats the output i get when trying to install grip.
i'm on slackware 9.0 with gnome 2.0
could anyone advise me in the right direction

Do you have Gnome-libs and gnome-config installed?

Theres a bunch of threads here on grip, search the forums a little and maybe you can find your answer as well.


And Slackware 9 comes with Gnome 2.2, not gnome 2.0.
