GNOME Workspace Switch from CLI

The problem
I have about 11 different Browser windows open for monitoring purposes, each one runs full screen in a workspace. I would like to set a cron job to toggle between each workspace.
I am also working on getting a better graphics card to allow me to run the 3d desktop environment.

I have done a fair amount of searching yet have yielded very poor responses.

Any help in this would be much appreciated.

You can use the (very useful) xdotool to accomplish this. Since the keyboard command to switch to the next workspace is ctrl+alt+Right, in your script you use:

Thanks I will give that a try.... will that also work on the 3d Desktop?

Yes, it work with Beryl at least (just tried it).
