gnome top margin

The worst thing of gnome windows manager is that if the program window is big, I may not be able to move the window upward and click the ok, cancel button at the bottom.

Are there any method to change this behavior?

I'm not sure about the problem you are having (Personally, I never had that problem with Gnome), but you can resize any window by holding your Alt + Middle Mouse Button and moving the mouse or move any window by holding Alt + Left Mouse Button and dragging the mouse around. Both alternatives work, regardless where your mouse cursor is...

I always use alt-left button.

Thanks for telling me that the alt-middle button advice. It would be useful. I want to pull the mplayer window over the gnome top panel as well, is it possible?
