Hey, I was wondering how I would go about and setting a default Icon Size and Icon Text Size for the Icons on the desktop in gnome? I know its probably simple, I just dont know!

gnome foot -> desktop preferences -> font

in there you can change your default fonts and sizes for applications, desktop, title bars, and terminals.

What about the icon size(not the icon text size)?
Isn't there a way to change all of the icons' size at once?
I don't want to stretch each one everytime...

If you open up nautilus, in the Edit | Preferences | Views you can set the default zoom. I set mine to 75% and it makes the desktop icons look a little more sensible at 1024x768. If there's a better way to do this (shrink the desktop icons without shrinking those in nautilus) that doesn't involve manually streching all the desktop icons, I'd love to hear about it.
