Gnome GUI Services Start and Stop

I am running a ubuntu 8.10 desktop and in the "Administration" pull-down there is an entry for "Services" which will allow me to start and stop various system services. I am also running a ubuntu 10.1 desktop and that entry is missing in the "Administration" pull-down. What package must I install in order to get that entry into my "Administration" list?

Thanks in advance,

Russ

The package name is 'sysv-rc-conf'
http://www.liberiangeek.net/2010/05/...automatically/

The command 'services-admin' ( and the Menu Entry ) for the "GUI" services tool
used to be included in 'gnome-system-tools'. Probably ended with Ubuntu 8.10.

Thank you, Knudfl. I used that package to turn off some unneeded services but it is a character-based "GUI" running in a terminal window. It did the job but does not show up in the Gnome "Administration" window.

Yes, I did read the text in the link. ( Post # 2 ).

And like the other 2,000 command line tools, it has no Menu Entry.
