Arrow gnome global settings "Help Me!!" or "URGENT"

i was wondering where gnome keeps its global settings and what not,
specifically, wherefor does it store game scores??

i reinstalled slackware 9.1 to a new hard drive and wanted to keep me scores
but i didnt wanna copy everything back over to the new drive

also was wondering how/where to alter what default settings are copied over
for new users (themes, background, menus)??

what's that for? please do not use phrases like this in thread titles, it is generally considered rude and may well make people deliberatley not read your posts.
