Funny, the narrator keeps pronouncing it "G-nome".

And WTF, GNOME Team? The first presentation point is the shiny new animations?

I use GNOME 3, I like it, but sometimes it feels like they still can't get their stuff straight.

Hi,

sounds like the narrator is Karen Sandler who was the Gnome foundation Executive Director for some time. She is pronouncing Gnome "correctly" Ie in the same way that one is supposed to pronounce "GNU". See https://www.gnu.org/pronunciation/pronunciation.html

Never knew that evo, thanks.

I see on other forums, however, the major "point" of the great new animations has become a joke. The same for a few other things that many users consider minor that the GNOME team touts in their announcement.

Here's hoping 3.16 brings some bigger, better, more important goodies.
