GNOME 2.2 Themes wont change completely in Mandrake 9.1
 

When i try and change the gnome theme while not in root, it doesn't change the GTK theme or color sheme. It just stays the normal Mandrake Galaxy theme but the metacity theme does change.Every thing works perfectly in root though but staying logged in as root 24/7 is risky.

dont change anything in root, do it in your account, it is much safer not to do something in root
