GNOME 2.2 left-handed mouse problem
Hello there, I've got a problem switching the mouse buttons.
I run Redhat 9 w/ GNOME 2.2.0 and when I click for left-handed mouse in the "mouse" program under Preferences, the mouse becomes really really weird. In the windows list manager, it takes a click as a right button click (on a right handed mouse) on both buttons (left AND right). Left-handed, in text files it highlights the text using the right button, but a box appears also when pressing the right button (as in a box coming up after you right click on a right handed mouse).
So there is something wrong here. I have changed the xmodmap -e "pointer = 1 2 3 4 5" function to xmodmap -e "pointer = 3 1 2 4 5" but it has the same effect. Everything about the mouse gets screwed up when I choose left-handed mouse.
And oh yes, I tried the mouse in my LEFT hand after choosing the left-handed mouse option under control panel. :-)
