Gnome 2.12 build order

Hi all,
I'm wanting/needing to compile gnome 2.12 manually from source. I have done this a long time ago but it took over a week to get everything to work together and would save a lot of time if there was a basic list to follow. I'm not wanting to use the pre-made compile utilities. Anyone have one or know where to find the order? Thanks in advance.

Search on the GNOME website. I prefer compiling from source and I have seen notes somewhere on the gnome website that list the order in which packages should be compiled.

Ver 2.8 has a list of sorts, but that seems to be the last time they made one. 2.10 lists the 2 compile utilities only - just as 2.12 has so it seems as if that's the "recommended" way to go.

I might try to adapt the 2.8 list to 2.12, it doesn't look like there's any other way

Well, you'll have to just use the 2.8 guide. I am sure I used it to compile 2.10 successfully.
