glxinfo fails to run(libstdc++.so.6 missing)

When I attept to run glxinfo as either a root or as a normal user, I get an error stating that libstdc++.so.6 is missing. How can I get this library?

I am running kde 3.4, kernel 2.6.15.1 on a slackware 10.2 machine.

Well, slocate lists libstdc++ versions up to 5 and I noticed that slackware ships with an older gcc/gcc++, so after this kde compile finishes I will install the lastest packages.
