glibc install error about sfuix of objectes


hello im wondering if anyone can help me out- im trying to install glibc-2.3.2 with gcc-3.3.2 but i get an error in teh configureation of glibc says

checking for suffix of object files... configure: error: cannot compute suffix of object files: cannot compile
See `config.log' for more details.


i use ../glibc-3*/configure --disable-profile --enable-add-ons --libexecdir=/lib

my compiler was built with ./configure --prefix=/mnt/remote --disable-profile --disable-nls --enable-shared

make BOOT_LDFLAGS="-static" bootstrap4
make install
