GLIBC 2.3.3 + Fluxbox

I just upgraded GLIBC to 2.3.3 (from 2.3.2), and everything works perfectly, EXCEPT Fluxbox!

I get the following error:

Quote:
Failed to load groupfile:
/usr/local/bin/fluxbox: relocation error: /usr/local/bin/fluxbox: symbol _ZNSi5seekgESt4fposI11__mbstate_tE, version GLIBCPP_3.2 not defined in file libstdc++.so.5 with link time reference
This box is Slackware-current, and I tried compiling my own 0.9.10, using the 0.9.10 package in the -current tree, and compiling from CVS, but I still get the same error...

Any ideas?

Did you try recompiling fluxbox?

Try using the pure source from fluxbox.sf.net, I use GLibC 2.3.3 and it works fine.

I think lidbstdc++ is something that comes with gcc so you might have to recompile gcc.

i am far from aware in this regard but it must be
another lib linked to fluxbox that is linked to the older glibc and can't find it's symbol
