GLib-GIO-CRITICAL

hi all,

I am trying to run gthumb, but I am getting this back:
Code:
failed to create drawable

(gthumb:6315): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: g_file_get_path: assertion `G_IS_FILE (file)' failed

(gthumb:6315): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
Segmentation fault
Any idea what is this?
I am on a Fedora 13 (fully updated) machine

thanks

Submit a bug. Assertion should never happen, this should be handled before this happen, this is a bug, this is not your fault.

An assertion is a way to detect/warn and kill the program before it start using data that are not compatible with the rest of the code. In this case, it seem to try to open a file that does not exist. A simple "if" statement is probably missing somewhere. Sometime really small omission can cause crashes like that.
