Give my kdm back!

Hi i have just installed opensuse 11.1 with kde 4. Because my pc was running very slowly i removed kde 4 and installed kde 3 using Yast interface. Yast removed kdm and i installed it back again. My problem is that kdm is not running and instead xdm is running which is ugly and awful.! I can run kdm as a standalone application but i dont know how to configure my system so kdm will be back again the default login manager.
any clue?

Hi,

In debian you need to change the file
/etc/X11/default-display-manager

Quote:
/usr/bin/kdm

You can edit /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager and change
Code:
DISPLAYMANAGER="xdm"
to
Code:
DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm"
