GIMP - language change
Dear all,
I've just downloaded GIMP for my work Windows PC.
I selected English as the language option for download, but as my PC is Korean all the menus are still in Korean. Is there anyway to change this?
Thanks for reading,
J.D

Code:
export LANG=en_US
gimp
Gimp will normally start with the default language of your system. But if you open a terminal and set another language (the export command) and execute gimp, it will run in that language. You can put the export line before the gimp command in the settings for whatever desktop method you normally use to start gimp.

Thanks for the reply,
Excuse my lame-ness, but how do I do that exactly? I'm running GIMP on windows and not sure how to open a terminal to follow your instructions.
Any baby-step help would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks for your time,
JD

You can change language in the "Preferences" under "Edit" menu, second section is "Interface" and then first combobox is "Language" to choose.
P.S. You should specify that you use Windows and write in appropriate forum, as this is Linux forum and everyone assumes that questioner works on Linux.
