gift daemon runs as root not as user... (using apollon and the fasttrack network)


i had giFT working with the apollon gui for a while now all of the sudden it can't load the fast track network as a user giftd -v as a user just show it's trying to connect and can't i'll post it if needed... thanks in advance

You'll definetly need to give more information. "It doesn't work" is a little information scarce. You could have provided some of the log file you were speaking of. Did you compile gift (and the fasttrack plugin) yourself? In network stats, does it tell you anything about fasttrack or the other networks. If so, what?
