GIF help

I have a animated GIF and a static GIF that Im using on my website. I was wondering is there a tool, or script to change a GIF to a PNG or a JPEG? Will it support animation?

I don't think jpeg or png supports animations. You can easily convert formats using Gimp, which is also shipped with nearly all distributions of Linux around, so install it from your disks (if you don't have it already installed).
