GIF error and silent crash w/Bit Tornado

I've been using Bit Tornado for a couple of years now, but since I upgraded to Mandriva 2005 LE I get an error message box that pops up every time I open a torrent link that states: "GIF: error in GIF image format" with the details stating "DIB Header: Image Height > 32767 pixels for file" listed 3 times.

Then the program silently crashes about 15 minutes later.

Any ideas what's the issue?
