Ghostscript and pdf creation
I use Ghostscript on a unix server to create pdf files from Windows clients.
I found that the look of the pdf files created is only acceptable if I send the fonts as outlines to the printer (Ghostscript) from the Windows machines.
However, Acrobat Reader's find function does not work correctly in the pdf files created by Ghostscript: it cannot find words having localised characters (õ,û,ú,í, etc.) in them.
I had the same problem when I used the windows version of Ghostscript for the same purpose.
This is a serious problem for me, since the find function to work correctly in these pdf files is a must in most uses.
Anyone knowing how to solve this issue?
