get redhats butchered gui's off my damn system!


I downloaded KDE and did rpm -Uvh * and it installed KDE off of kde.org and I reboot and select KDE and it's still the butchered redhat version KDE , doing something wrong?

you mean the bluecurve theme? thats no problem, Bluecurve isn't actually a DE or WM, just a default theme. You can change it/customize it in the themes manager. In Gnome you get to it from Hat --> Preferences --> Themes, so i would assume it's the same for KDE.
