Dear all,
I was looking for a solution to take over my linux pc using the rdp protocol from a windows computer. I found a solution in XRDP, installed the software, when attempting to contact the server i do get to the main XRDP session, but when selecting the RDP protocol, entering the internal IP, i get a black screen, the xwindow doesn't start.
My config files:
/usr/local/xrdp/startwm.sh
Code:
#!/bin/sh
# edit this file to run whatever window manager you want
# defaults to running kde
#!/bin/bash
startx -- :1
exit 0;
/etc/xrdp/xrdp.ini
Code:
GNU nano 2.2.4 File: xrdp.ini
[globals]
bitmap_cache=yes
bitmap_compression=yes
port=3389
crypt_level=low

startwm.sh does work when executed manually as shell script.
Anyone any experience with this application who might be able to help? I've googled all around and sought many solutions however none that equalled this.
Thanks in advance!
