gentoo problem with rcx.d's

at what directory can i locate the rcx.d's? for example /etc/rc0.d for red hat. gentoo has a different implementation for it. does anyone have an idea?

As far as I can remember, rcx.d is in redhat the script that will be run in the x run level. In gentoo you have other way of manage those, they have names like: default or boot. You manage the init scripts with the rc-update tool, and all the scripts are placed in a same place, /etc/init.d

All scripts that can be run at a runlevel are stored in /etc/init.d/ any service that has a script such as this can be invoked by for example /etc/init.d/xdm start ... /etc/init.d/xdm stop ... or /etc/init.d/xdm restart
Scripts can be added or removed from a runlevel with the rc-update command I.e.
rc-update add xdm default or rc-update delete hdparm boot.

SystemV scripts are nto compatible with gentoo.
