gentoo+cups+ghostscript+foomatic=nothing works
I am trying to get my epson usb printer to work using cups and the epkowa printer driver. I have followed the gentoo printing guide. It says in the gentoo forums to re-emerge ghostscrip...I did that and I still can't print. In the cups error log it says to make sure I have ghostscript installed. I had it working before I had to erase everything and start over from scratch...now I can't get it to work. Thanks for the help.

Well since nobody seemed to have an answer, I ended up fixing it and here's how:
I unmerged cups, gimp-print, foomatic, and ghostscript. I then emerged cups, ghostscript, and foomatic. Everything works fine. I think somehow I ended up with a corrupted cups on my initial install. ANyways, it works now. |
