gedit output code

when invoking gedit from the command line I get the following output:

(gedit:7152): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.

but gedit works fine. Do I need to change/fix anything?

I'm having the same message as well, it seems that GNome has some problems with multiple users using the console...
I login as user and ran gedit, no messages but when I su-ed and ran It again, the message above pops up...
I'm currently searching for a fix, will be back if I have more info

Cheers,
~WiLL~
