GDM Help!?!?

I can't get gdm to start gnome. I've looked around in the config files, but I can't find any information that's relevant to my problem.

I can run failsafe gnome, but not regular gnome. When I select gnome as the session it loads a standard xterm. Where is the setting for this?

The Gnome file in my sessions directory contains this:

/etc/X11/xdm/Xsession gnome

should this be something different? Is there some other file I should be modifying?

Thanks. :-)

look at the .xsession-errors file in your home directory, that should help you find the problem
