GDM: Change 'incorrect user or password' text

Hi,

Without modifying source, is it possible, and if so how, to change the text of the 'incorrect user name or password' message in GDM v2.20.6?

Thank you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the message texts are hard-coded so in order to alter them you'd need to recompile GDM. The texts are translated depending on what locale you use, but still the base message is probably hardcoded; otherwise there probably was a configuration file, or a portion in GDM's configuration file, for that specific purpose - changing the texts.

Did you already try going trough the source code and finding if the texts are there? With grep or something..
