I installed gdesklets on my comp, and have yet to get it to work. For example when I try to start starterbar I get the following errors:

File "/usr/share/gdesklets/factory/SensorFactory.py", line 74, in create_sensor

OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/usr/share/gdesklets/Sensors/StarterBar'

Invalid display file '/home/abbradsh/.gdesklets/Displays/starterbar-desklet-0.22.1/starterbar.display'

I installed using the dag rpm on FC2. Any help would be appreciated as i'm a noob and not very good at fixing problems such as this.

This may not be the answer you are looking for but I use GKrellM. Easy to install and uses alot less system resource then desklets. Download GKrellM 2.x , GKrellM-themes, and lm sensors. That will give you everything you need.
