gcvs problem : TCL is *not* available

Dear all,

Can anyone help me to the solution on the following problem:
Currently, I installed the FC4 and gcvs. However, when I start the gcvs it has the prompt "TCL is *not* available, shell and macros are disabled". I installed the FC4 few times already, one of the times, it don't have the error and most of the times, the error appears. Besides, I check the tcl package "tcl-8.4.9-3" is installed.

Please help to give me some direction on the problem. Thanks.

Alan.

I think it's an PATH issue.
Just type 'tcl' and check if it executes.

Hi Pronoy,

Thanks for your information.
Yes, it is really the problem after I type 'tcl'.
However, I found that the package "tcl-devel-8.4.9-3.i386.rpm" didn't install. After install and recompile the gcvs. All seems OK.

Many thanks for your help.

Alan.
