gcc complier not working in ark linux

hey i'm using ark linux 1.0 alpha10.1, when i tried to complie UE202B.C; a file to install usb network adapter on linux, it gave the error gcc command not found.
so does it mean gcc complier is not install on ark linux ?
any other way to complie that file without using gcc complier?

not that i know of. you'll need a c/c++ compiler along with development/system header files installed. try looking on ark linux's install cds for development packages and install those. or find out if ark linux supports binaries and has an update package system and use that to get development packages and libraries.
