GCC 3.3.2-6 Installation Issue

Hi all. I downloaded a Mandrake 10 GCC 3.3.2-6 RPM file the other day, and have finally gained the ability to install it (having purchased the 4th Mandrake CD for the obscene price of $66).

The installation is going fine, and then it tells me this:

Installation failed:
::logger_id:

Does anyone know what that means? I know I have permissions to install--I'm root.

Thanks,

Shoal

I would like to know as well. I am trying to install QT3 on mandrake 10 (file version "qt3-3.2.3-17mdk.src.rpm").
I get the same error. I have searched this forum but nobody has answered the posts that contain this question.
